Summary of 2008
Domestic cricket
Over 12,000 runs scored and over 800 wickets taken in 56 matches in Hungary
Completed second cricket league season in Hungary between 8 teams (playing 11-a-side 25-over matches on football pitches)
After 27 league matches, semi-finals and the final, as well as 26 friendly matches (total = 56 matches!), Royal Tigers were crowned 2008 HCL champions. In the final they held off the admirable challenge of Baggy Blues to register a four-wicket victory. Without star bowler Mark Bownas, the underdogs were unable to stop Lucky Singh and Rajvir Singh putting on 51 for the sixth wicket to avoid an upset and keep the Tigers unbeaten record intact... card + photos
