Dear Members of the Hungarian Cricket Community,
As you know, we are approaching the 2015 HCA Board Elections. As a result of last years’ General Assembly where we accepted the new by-laws of the HCA (which was mandatory according to the new Civil Code), the Board’s mandate was extended till 2016. Therefore this year we will only hold a supplementary election to replace the resigned members of the Board who were voted in in 2013. As per the new articles of association the full Board should now consist of four members, so we need to elect two additional members this year.
The process and dates of the election will commence as the following:
16th March final eligible voters list published
20th March (midnight) new candidates application deadline
23rd March new candidates’ names are made public
3rd April (midnight) deadline for votes – to be sent to Ken Baines who will compile votes
13th Arpil new board members names announced (top two candidates with most votes)
Hungarian cricket badly needs hard working partners to help Adrian and Marton with the multiple tasks and projects on strategic and day-to-day levels. We encourage all HCA members who have a passion for the game/are interested in developing Hungarian cricket, have free time to spare, have useful skills and motivation to put their names forward as potential candidates. IF YOU'D LIKE TO APPLY AS A BOARD MEMBER, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT!
The full application of all candidates including CVs, application letters, and photographs will be available on this website.
IMPORTANT! ELIGIBLE VOTING LIST!
It was agreed at the last captains meeting that eligible voters are those active players who paid the 3000 HUF membership fee in 2014 who are still living in Hungary at the time of the election.
Based on the League Committee records we kindly request all Club Captains to double check the list of their eligible players, and submit the confirmed list to Gabi before 13th March 2015. Should any team miss this deadline, their players will be excluded from the voting.
Thank you for your attention, if you have any questions please let us know.
