Dear Members of the Hungarian Cricket Community,

As you know, we are approaching the 2016 HCA Board Elections. As per the 2014 articles of association the full Board should now consist of four members. As the current board member’s tenure expires this year all four board member positions will have to be filled. The elected board members on their first meeting will elect the chairman, traditionally the chairman will be one of the Hungarian board members.

Here is the timeline for the election process, we are expecting nominations from any interested parties who would like to participate in the development of Hungarian cricket.

The process and dates of the election will commence as the following:

7th march final eligible voters list published

13th March (midnight) new candidates application deadline

14th March new candidates’ names are made public

25th March (midnight) deadline for votes – to be sent to Ken Baines who will compile votes (kjbaines@hotmail.co.uk)

4th Arpil new board members names announced (top four candidates with most votes)

We encourage all HCA members who have a passion for the game and/or are interested in developing Hungarian cricket to put their names forward as potential candidates.

IMPORTANT! ELIGIBLE VOTING LIST!
The current board decided that eligible voters are those players who were registered in 2015, played at least one game in the league and who are still living in Hungary at the time of the election.

Based on the League Committee records we kindly request all Club Captains to double check the list of their eligible players, and submit the confirmed list to Gabi before 29th Feb 2016. Should any team miss this deadline, their players will be excluded from the voting.

Thank you for your attention, if you have any questions please let us know.
